So, where to start?

I'm easily distracted, frequently flighty, incessantly creative. I love words and their interactions, bringing characters to life, and putting them through horrifying ordeals mostly for my own amusement. I like collaborative storytelling efforts, as in a tabletop RPG, and I like hiding in my cave with my word processor and badgering characters into doing what I want. (Well, sometimes. I often do not succeed.)

I love to bake. I love to cook. I like following recipes to the letter, and I like throwing handfuls of ingredients into the pan until something tasty results. I love the way my home looks when it is tidied and polished, but I don't much care for the process of said cleaning. I live near Chicago with two cats and an array of fictional people. I am fortunate enough to have many real people to call friend as well.

This journal is apt to contain a great deal of rambling, occasional recipes, talk about writing, or whatever has popped into my head just now. I make no promises of frequent updates.
